The P & Z Commission meets to consider plats, hold public meetings on zoning and rezoning, and make recommendation to Council. The Commission also acts as an advisory board and has such duties and powers as specified by the laws of the State of Texas, the City charter and ordinances.  Appointments are made by Council and alternates are appointed by the mayor. The Commission consists of seven members & two alternates.  Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 7 PM in the Council Chamber at City Hall,located at 5024 Broadway Ave. Agendas for the Planning & Zoning Commission can be found here.
