The purpose of the EDC is to benefit and accomplish the promotion of industrial and manufacturing enterprises, promote and encourage employment, and preserve the public welfare of the City. At least three members must not be employees or officers of the City or members of the City Council.  The Corporation is made up of seven members and meets on an as needed basis.
