The Nancy P. Watkins Animal Care & Adoption Center will change its hours for teh July 4th holiday weekend. The shelter will be closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 3, 4 & 5.  An Animal Control Officer (ASO) will be on call 24/7 for any animal related emergencies.  ASOs will be dispatched through the PD, at 817 222-7071 (emergencies only).  Citizens can leave a detailed message at the shelter for any non-emergency issues at 817 759-2124, and calls will be handled on Monday in order of priority.

The shelter also asks citizens not to trap animals during the holiday weekend.
