The City Council recently approved a $2.50 convenience fee for all credit/debit card payments for all City departments that take credit cards, effective March 16, 2017. This applies to all credit & debit card payments for water/sewer bills, municipal court fees, permit fees, library, recreation and all other payments.

The reason for adding the fee is to recoup the payment card interchange fees imposed by credit card processing companies. For FY2016, Haltom City paid approximately $150,000 for payment interchange fees.

The westbound frontage road of Loop 820 is currently closed between Denton Highway and Haltom Road in response to a sinkhole. Please check back later for additional information.

Haltom City Veterans Memorial

haltom city texas veterans memorial groundbreakingConstruction will begin this summer on our Veterans Memorial at Haltom Road Park. This memorial will serve to honor the courage and sacrifice made by our veterans and first responders. A site dedication was held on November 11, 2016 and a groundbreaking ceremony was held on April 21, 2017.

Haltom City is currently accepting donations that will fund accents and amenities to the memorial, including a water fountain, gazebo, additional parking and a new restroom facility. There will be a fundraiser on August 26, 2017 at American Legion Post #655.

Donations can be made through a recurring deduction on the financial account residents use to pay their water bill or by making a one-time donation. A recurring deduction can be made by filling out this form and selecting the Veterans Memorial Fund.
